I am a first time visitor and not at all fa...Mark,

I am a first time visitor and not at all familiar with your blog. However, after reading this terrific post and glancing at your archives and labels, I feel like the proverbial young kid on Christmas morning.

Regardless if this post is the only gift with my name on it, I wanted to ensure that you knew how grateful I am for what you do here. Based on the flavor of this fantastic piece I am most anxious to catch up on the last 5 years of your work here.

I have been a science skeptic since I became paraplegic nearly 9 years ago. After fearing the loss of everything that defined "who I am" and blaming God (who didn't exist) I began to take a look for the mountain of scientific evidence that I was certain would confirm my doubts.

After no longer than a week or two I had flipped my worldview. Soon after I gave my life to Jesus Christ, I have not stopped researching the evidence for His existence ever since. Over the course of the last few days I have been preparing a response to a critique of my thesis 'The Argument from the Simulation Hypothesis and Quantum Mechanics'. While looking at QFT and the cosmological constant I sensed that same "something" I had been trained to detect mainly by personally testing whether quantum tunneling through brick walls would work at the macro-level.,:)

Finally, after sifting through the layers of dodges and impotent bullying I made it here. What an Oasis.
I am thrilled that I see you have folders for at least 70-80% of the topics I am so interested in and that are in the process of being assimilated as support for my work.

Thanks again, I will be back after hanging out under your virtual Christmas Tree and trying out that cool new bike I had been hoping for for so many years.

Godspeed,

Pete Pete Wenzellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16059632482676175322noreply@blogger.com
